Emily is a human rights and business specialist with experience working for businesses and NGOs. She has a passion for human rights, child rights and the empowerment of communities through effective stakeholder engagement.
Emily has experience of working on issues such as modern slavery, child labour, children’s rights, working conditions, wages and community engagement.
Emily recently led Haleon plc’s Human rights work as Director of Human Rights and ESG Reporting. Emily previously worked for UNICEF’s Child Rights and Business Unit.
Emily’s specific capabilities include supporting businesses undertake human rights due diligence and developing the subsequent actions plans; reviewing and developing policies and guidance and how to operationalise these across business operations and supply chains; programme design and management; and how to develop effective and accessible grievance mechanisms.
